Ms. Garces has over 18 years of experience as an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Florida.  She specializes in the areas of immigration and business transactions.  She prepares immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions and support documentation and advises companies on corporate formation, structure, shareholder agreements and duel diligence to get the business operational.  She also acts as the closing agent and attorney for her clients' real estate transactions and closings.  Her dedication and commitment as produced superior quality work product that has resulted in an impressive amount of favorable decisions for her clients.  Her clients include galleries, universities, U.S. corporations, multinational corporations, and individuals, such as, investors, executives, students, professionals, artists and athletes, among others. 

Ms. Garces remains active in the community through memberships in various organizations.  She serves as the President of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables for the 2020-2021 year and was the International Service Chair of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables for the 2018-2019 year.  Through her Rotary Club, she has prepared grants for projects to assist underprivileged communities internationally. Representing the Rotary Club of Coral Gables as an Advisory Council Member for the Institute for Ethical Leadership at St. Thomas University, Attorney Kelly Garces fosters the development of students’ ethical principles so that they become a better next generation of leaders in our community.  She is also a member for the Florida Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Coral Gables Bar Association. 

Ms. Garces gives back to the community by having participated in professional exchanges to Australia, Costa Rica, and Mexico.  She has prepared grants for projects to assist underprivileged communities internationally and actively oversees various international projects in her Rotary Club that help the under-served communities in Guatemala, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.

Ms. Garces dedicates her spare time as a Law Professor by teaching legal and business law classes to paralegal students and business students at various universities. 

Ms. Garces has been invited to speak at universities and other civic community organizations and authors articles in her areas of concentration for newsletters and publications. 

Ms. Garces received her Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in International Law Practice from Nova Southeastern University School of Law (NSU).  While in law school, Ms. Garces was the President of the Hispanic Law Students Association and studied international law in Costa Rica and Mexico.  She received the highest recognition in in her international studies receiving the Book Award in International Legal Practice.  She also received a Pro Bono Honor's Certification for her dedication to serving the community.  She was also the Annual Scholarship Recipient for the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association.
